French conjugation tip: Negative Form with COD Pronouns in the Passé Simple

In the Passé Simple, a more formal tense, the negative form with COD pronouns also surrounds the pronoun and the verb with “ne…pas”. For example, “Je ne le vis pas” (I did not see him/it) or “Elle ne les prit pas” (She did not take them). The past participle must agree with the COD pronoun.
